NFL Betting Tips: Which Miami Dolphins Specials Should You Bet On?

Fans of the Miami Dolphins would probably like to say they are surprised at how their team’s season is playing out, but they can’t. They knew their team was not going to play well this season. It was no secret that the team wanted to ‘Tank for Tua’ to make sure they could draft Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

But no one was really prepared for just how well the team would succeed in its efforts to tank. Switching from Ryan Fitzpatrick to Josh Rosen is probably not going to make much of a difference either.

Because of that, several sportsbooks are offering a variety of related prop bets.

0-16? It is a question you almost hate to ask because you don’t want a team to struggle so much that they can’t win a single game. But with how poorly the Dolphins are playing on both sides of the ball, Bodog thought it was worth asking:

Will The Miami Dolphins Go 0-16 In The 2019-2020 NFL Regular Season?

After Week One, the odds were a lot longer, but now that they followed up one clunker with another, they got dramatically shorter. That means, you better be confident that they will win one or will not before taking this.

So—who can they beat? If Josh Rosen can become the guy scouts thought he was in college, then they may have a shot to beat the Steelers, Giants, Bengals, and Jets. But that is also assuming their respective quarterbacks hop on the struggle bus.

It has only happened on two other occasions in NFL history; this season will make it three.

    Take the yes.

    Losing by 40+

So far, the Dolphins have lost by 49 points (to the Ravens) and 43 points (to the Patriots). They are switching quarterbacks this week, but when Josh Rosen has been on the field, he hasn’t looked any better than Ryan Fitzpatrick.

With a trip to Dallas on deck, it wouldn’t be shocking to see them lose by 40+ again. BetOnline.ag wants to know how many times this season the Dolphins are going to lose by 40+:

Total Dolphins games lose by 40 or more points

They don’t face the Patriots again until Week 17, but even if the Patriots start Jarrett Stidham that week, they could still win by 40+. The Chargers have the offensive potential to do it as do the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles.

    Take the over.

    vs. Dallas?

The official spread against the Dallas Cowboys this week is -21.5 points. But BetOnline.ag wants to know if fans think the Dolphins will lose by 40+:

It is a pretty massive number for a professional football game, but the last two teams beat them by 40+. With how Dak Prescott is playing, it isn’t hard to imagine him having a huge day; Ezekiel Elliot, as well.

    Take the yes.

    Bang Bros?

A pornographic web site recently created some buzz when it stated its intention to submit a bid for naming rights to the home court of the Miami Heat. There haven’t been any rumors about the site having any interest in partnering with the Dolphins instead.

But BetOnline.ag decided to pose the question anyway:

It’s one thing to tank, but to go into business with a porn site? No; not going to happen.

    Will The Dolphins Sign….?

With as bad as Ryan Fitzpatrick has looked and with as bad as Josh Rosen is expected to look, the Dolphins may need to resort to some shenanigans to get fans into the stands at home. Who wants to pay the price of admission for the product the team is putting on the field? No one!

But they pay the price if Tim Tebow or Colin Kaepernick were behind center?

Will the Dolphins sign Colin Kaepernick?

They just got rid of Kenny Stills; it is doubtful they bring in the guy that inspired Kenny Stills to speak out on social issues as much as he did. Take the no.

Will the Dolphins sign Tim Tebow?

Please. If you bet on this, you must not like money.

    Suspension?

This one is kind of perplexing. Has anyone on the Dolphins roster been acting out? Are they playing dirty? Is anyone doing anything illegal? No, or at least, not that we are aware of. But BetOnline.ag has offered this anyway:

Will a Dolphins player be suspended?

If you know of a reason why someone might be, take the yes. Otherwise, go with the no.
